“Online Casino, Casino Royale, and Popular Movies. What makes a Casino so desirable in any form?”
Casino … Some time ago it was an incredibly expensive place exclusively for the richest of the richest. It’s hard to imagine that such establishments could ever become a casino online. “Casino online real money” does seem like a proverb with a joke inside, doesn’t it? However, online casinos in the modern world will not come as a surprise to anyone – many have heard about a real online casino, many have already found the best online casino for themselves. An incredible amount of films has been created about the casino. Even new concepts have appeared – Royale Casino or Casino Royale, as an indicator of the most desired gambling places. Why? I assume that each of us understands some mysterious charm of the game as a process of entertainment, associated with a share of risk and fun. And when the game involves real money, and even more, is held in a chic atmosphere of luxury and relaxation – the mystical charm of excitement becomes even more tangible. Many modern people still don’t believe that “online casino games real money” in your search can lead to an official online casino gambling house. And yes, “online casino real money no deposit”, “online casino no deposit” or “online casino no deposit bonus” is a common search query nowadays.
Many people associate casinos with wealth, chic interiors, women in beautiful evening dresses, and men in gorgeous suits. The most important thing that distinguishes these people stronger than their specious appearance – their willingness and desire to take risks. And the risk, as you may know, is a really exciting thing. To win without risk is to triumph without glory, right? Naturally, the directors simply could not get past the whole casino culture with its unique atmosphere and charm. The emergence of The Casino Royale Film was only a matter of time. Therefore, today I will tell you about the classic movies with casinos, known to everyone – films featuring James Bond himself.
007 Casino Royale (1967 Film)
“Casino Royale is too much… for one James Bond!”
Let’s start with the movie Casino Royale (1967 Film). Yes, this isn’t the first film about Casino Royale, since there was Climax Casino Royale back in 1954. So where does the Casino Royale movie start?
Agent 007, a professional British spy who retired 2 decades ago, is visited by the heads of British MI6, CIA, KGB, and Deuxième Bureau representatives. They ask Bond to come out of retirement to deal with SMERSH who have been killing agents.
Bond hires Vesper, a retired agent, to recruit baccarat expert Evelyn, whom he intends to use to beat SMERSH financial agent Le Chiffre. Le Chiffre is desperate for money to cover up his theft from SMERSH before he’s executed. He wants to raise the money by playing baccarat. Evelyn analyzes Le Chiffre’s game and realizes that he’s using infrared sunglasses to cheat. Vesper steals the sunglasses, allowing Evelyn to win. SMERSH kills Le Chiffre.
Then Bond’s daughter is kidnapped by SMERSH in a giant flying saucer, and he travels to Casino Royale, that’s located atop a giant underground headquarters run by the evil Dr. Noah. Noah reveals that he plans to use biological warfare to make all women beautiful and kill all men over 4-foot-6-inch (1.37 m) tall, leaving him as the “giant” who gets all the girls. As a diversion of one of the agents, he swallows one of his atomic pills. The atomic pill explodes, destroying the Casino. James and all his agents appear in heaven, while Noah gets to hell. Even “win real money online casino for free” situation is more realistic, that this plot, don’t you think?
Casino Royale Cast and General View of the Comedic Component of the Past
The Casino Royale 1967 is more of a parody for those “serious international agencies”. Casino Royale 1967 cast involves many famous actors: David Niven, Peter Sellers, Jean-Paul Belmondo, John Houston, Charles Boyer, Orson Welles, Ursula Andress, William Holden, Woody Allen, Deborah Kerr. The entire film is saturated with the incredible energy of each actor. Partridge mines, comic explosive situations, and frank fantasy in the form of flying saucers or “big man’s plans” – all this makes fun of “everyday espionage”, secret accessories, strange situations, and ridiculous plans of the main villains.
One of the main people in the project – John Houston – was a master of all genres: western, crime, musical, comedy, drama … All these genres came together in his Casino Royale original to some extent, generously flavored with comedy. Will modern viewers like this? You should definitely watch Casino Royale before watching the latest Casino Royale 2006. However, being ready to review the 1967 version, remember that this film and the 2006 version are completely different things, and not only because they played baccarat in 1967, and in 2006 they played poker games. But, perhaps, it is in the comedic component that you find some attractiveness for yourself? Everyone makes a decision on their own.
Best Western Casino Royale so Far
The mysterious Mr. White introduces Steven Obanno, an infamous terrorist, to a private criminal banker. Obanno gives Le Chiffre a serious sum of money to invest; Le Chiffre buys options on aerospace manufacturer Skyfleet, betting on the company’s failure given his insider knowledge of a terrorist attack.
Bond pursues terrorist Mollaka. He prevents the destruction of Skyfleet’s airliner and Le Chiffre loses Obanno’s money.
To get money back, Le Chiffre organizes a high-stakes tournament at the Casino Royale. MI6 puts James in the tournament, believing a defeat will force Le Chiffre to seek safety with the British government in exchange for information. Bond is paired with Vesper, a British Treasury agent protecting the $10 million buy-ins.
Bond loses his stake when Le Chiffre cheats on him, and Vesper refuses to continue. James meets player Leiter, a CIA agent, who agrees to pay for Bond. The game now culminates in $115 million. Agent 007 wins with a straight flush.
Le Chiffre captures Bond and Vesper and tortures James to give up the winnings. Suddenly, Mr. White stalks in and kills Le Chiffre as punishment for losing his money.
With the help of M Bond realizes that Vesper has betrayed him. He follows her and finds that gunmen take her captive. James destroys the building’s flotation devices, causing it to sink. He kills the gunmen, but Vesper, imprisoned in an elevator, locks herself inside as the lift plunges into the water. James can’t free Vesper before she finally drowns. Mr. White escapes with the money.
James Bond Casino Royale (2006 Film)
“A Dramatic Story With An Unbelievable Twist”
The same Casino, the same intrigue, and the threat of terrorism on a global scale. Casino Royale cast made a completely different picture this time: Daniel Craig as a serious and sometimes ruthless secret agent, Eva Green as an alluring and smart beauty, Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre and other stars made everything just perfect. I, for example, still can’t forget the cold and official image of M by Judi Dench.
The Bond in this movie is no longer a parody, but a real secret agent. He can not only walk in tuxedos and drink expensive alcohol – he also fights like a military professional, and it’s realistic. The face of the new James has all the signs of “tough” work – this is exactly what sets him apart from all the actors who played the famous spy before (although initially, the appearance of Daniel Craig looked rough, even somewhat repulsive – but it only indicates his inner threat for his enemies in the movie). Daniel Craig looks really brutal, as the dangerous operative from a secret agency should look.
All fights in the movie are now much more realistic, brutal, and fast-paced. The manner of moving during a battle and in emergency situations also shows a wealth of experience and understanding of the principles of reducing the distance to enemies. Everything is like in a real street fight. James also gets very real injuries and bruises – and it looks more natural than ever.
Summarizing, Bond is as vulnerable as possible in the new version of Casino Royale. As in any military operation, we see the sufferings and death or innocent and beloved people. In the previous movies, let’s be realistic, Agent 007 just uses beautiful women – he had no feelings towards them. But this time, the Agent really fell in love – and you’ll empathize it, living all the events with James. In fact, this particular mixture allows modern viewers to understand why different people love this franchise and Agent 007 in particular. It allows us to understand why the image of a casino and its mysterious visitors, their ability to play and win in casino games is so attractive to many. Oh, and the most pleasant part – the movie keeps you in serious suspense. You really don’t know what will happen next. Isn’t this the real ardor we’re looking for?
And Yet, Why Are We So Attracted By James Bond Story?
James Bond films allow viewers to feel the tension of hidden international politics, which is not visible to the average person. Even the first James Bond movie, which was released back in 1962, has the same appealing central idea – James Bond, Agent 007, encounters strange events, and eventually gets deeper into the web of conspiracy. James Bond investigates mysterious circumstances, meets extravagant and dangerous people, travels across the world – that is what creates this charm of James Bond movies. Each new James Bond movie continues the tradition of its predecessor or at least honestly tries to.
James Bond actors are always something. Every new James Bond has a very strong personality, that only adds up to the image of the secret agent. First James Bond was portrayed by Sean Connery, and nobody can’t say that it’s not classics – for instance, I personally still can’t get rid of that gun barrel sequence. Each next James Bond movie and its main personality has its own spirit. I mean it, literally each new James Bond actor has some truly legendary trait: Sean Connery is suspicious, David Niven is sanguine, George Lazenby is amiable, Roger Moore is damn attractive, Timothy Dalton has a native English nobility, Pierce Brosnan hides the explosive nature of the character under ostentatious calm, and Daniel Craig personifies brutal combat readiness. As you see, all James Bond movies in order show the same truly distinctive feature – its unique main character. He is always different – but he’s always the one you want to be like.
If there’s that number of actors, then how many James Bond movies are there? More than twenty-six for sure, although the James Bond movie list will soon get a replenishment in the form of a new James Bond 2020 movie. That makes twenty-seven best James Bond movies in total. Yes, you’ve read it correctly – all of these movies are the best. Each in its own aspect, for sure. Some fans especially outline Daniel Craig’s James Bond, but at the same time, there are people who believe that Craig isn’t the best candidate for the franchise. Daniel Craig’s James Bond movies offer a hurricane pace of gunfights and truly brutal hand-to-hand combat. Perhaps, this is what kind of cools the fuse of the most loyal fans of the series? Even now, in 2020, there are fierce debates over what Craig’s new project will be in the end. I can say only one thing, that will be completely true – whatever the new James Bond movie comes out, we will go for it. After all, it’s James Bond!
